RASC Observing session. Object 5deg. s polaris, eastward 30 deg.magnitude -2watched with 8" ref, 6" ref.. object had long arm that rotated from top app. 2X dia.10 degfrom north down to 180 deg.every 3 min. object exploded @ 21:15. looked like star cluster. very silvery with east-west sides grey. arm was a white color ,rouge area mid-way, white section at the end. We used 25& 10 mil.eyepieces in the 8" f6 ref
