An object was seen near the Orion's belt and traveled in a southwesterly direction turning bright green and then faided out.

Standing on the porch facing Orion at 10:30 Sat night. Skys clear, temp in the mid 60's. What looked to be a star in the belt area started to moved in a southwesterly direction.

As it moved, it proceded to get brighter. At full brightness it was brighter then all the other stars the sky.

The object went from a blue-green to white-green to blue-green and then disappeared. Full movement was about 5-10 degrees, speed constant.
