While driving with my two friends, we noticed this craft in the sky. It sort of fluttered changing its elevation. We lost it when it went behind mountains

We were driving in a car and had no time to stop-- we saw one triangular object-- it was a light orange or white---it went behind the mountains and we lost site of it. My friends are in their first year of college-- i am a junior in high school.
