Bright steady Neon red light moved from SW to NE in 10 min, turned bright white, then exploded in white shower.

Very bright, neon laser point source first viewed in SW. Moved slowly within 10 minutes to NE. Turned to bright white like Mg flare, then exploded with white trails in umbrella pattern. Observed with telescope with no discernable structure.
