singal object. then splits into two objects. small roung glowing object. travelling fast

it was a small round glowing object that came out of the horizon really fastand shot upwards into the sky untill i could no longer see them. when it came out of the horizon it was just one image but a few seconds later it split up into to objects which looked the same as the original image. about 2 seconds later i could no longer see them! I thought it was strange how there was no fumes coming out rom behind the object like you would see if looking at a plane. It was a sunny day with a clear blue sky except for an occasional cloud.
