orange saucer shaped misty looking object seen in placentia

large orange oval shaped but with saucer like edges seen at a 45 degree angle from the ground. it looked almost transparent with two lights on top and bottom red and white lights. it moved slowly to the west and decended as it moved. we followed it in our car until we could no longer see it, it went lower than the trees and the houses.
