A glowing flock of birds in a symetrical V shape formation

It looked like a flock of birds that glowed white. The formation was in a "V" shape, but not symetrical. As it approched closer, the "birds" had more os a star shape. The star looked like they were enclosed in a nearly invisable boomarang shape "V" formation and then it dissoved out of sight.
