Bouncing Stars

August 30, 2003: 2230: I was trying to get a glimple of mars using a pair of tripod mounted binoculars. After viewing mars I decided it was a nice night for a little more star gazing. I was viewing in the area of Ursa Major when I notice a light moving much like when viewing the ISS. I followed the light across the sky when another light seemed to intercept it and returned along the path of the last light. I watched these lights do this for about a half an hour and quit when I noticed an aircraft in the vicinity and the lights vanished.
