Starlight object moving across sky coming to a complete stop then moving again until it disappear upwards (???) We were at my sister's party standing in the garden. My friend caught my attention when he said he saw a light move across the sky directly overhead coming to a complete stop. At forst glance it just looked like a star which I initially thought was Mars because of its colour. However looking more closely I notice it was quite a large type star and the colour was not constant as it seem to be changing. After a few minutes it started to move across the sky over a period of around 2/3 mins then appeared to disappear.
