High alt. Object over Phoenix July 29th Was having smoke break outside of my work and noticed a star like object in the sky on a bright cloudless day. It was almost directly over head and moving on a heading of 180. It appeared to be very high ( 20,000 feet or more) and left no contrail. Moving very slow and took about 5 minutes to move about 20 feet across the sky. It then stopped and held its postion for another 5 minutes or more. I had just bought a pair of polarized sunglasses and could only see the object cleary with them on. When I removed the glasses the sky was extreamly bright and it mad it almost impossible to see the object. The object appeared to sway back and forth slightly so I steadied my head against a wall to make sure I wasnt the one doing the swaying. And it was swaying or appearing to sway from the heat rising or atmospheric conditions. It then moved on a heading of 270 slowly and I watched it for a bit longer then was forced to go back to work. I have been searching the net looking for other reports of it. But due to its unimpressive movements and subdued lighting maybe I am 1 in 3 million but I doubt it. My Friend also saw it but then shrugged his shoulders and went back into work.
