White oval shaped light moving too swiftly and erraticly to be notmal aircraft.

I saw what appeared at first to be a white light moving across the sky which swiftly changed direction. It moved in a boxy u shaped pattern and then disappeared behind some trees. This location is near the airport and I have seen many planes coming in and out of the area. This did not appear to be any standard plane.
