Falling Object next to the Big Dipper.

The Object was seen at 22:55 July 31st 2010, A bright Oval Object directly to the right of the Big Dipper could be seen falling vertically from point of few It fell 6 Inches. After falling It grew brighter ( Blue ) then flashed an orange white hue and shot directly east at a completely perfect horizontal flight path. The Object did not appear to be a Aircraft or Shooting star I know the difference, It was almost like an falling orb than turned into a rocket. I didn't have time to take a picture of the object due to the fact I was on the cell phone looking up at the Big Dipper. My friend told me to report It and so thats what I did, hopefully someone else saw what I seen.
