Sighting of 3 UFO's in the Las Vegas region in triangle formation that moved to a straight line.

I just wanted to share an experience that I just shared this afternoon with several of my colleagues. So I'm currently residing in Las Vegas, and today is just another cloudless day in the valley. At about 2:30pm PST, we went outside, my two colleagues for a smoke break and some fresh air for myself.

We sat down and I gazed up into the sky as it's been quite a long day. While looking up, I noticed three VERY high objects in the sky. Too high to be planes or helicopters. At first my colleagues thought they were planes but then I pointed out the fact that for starters, they were in a triangular formation and NOT moving. Then a plane actually passed by at a high altitude, close enough to the crafts for comparison (and it was very clearly a plane passing by)...it became very clearly the same kind of craft as these objects. I wish I could've documented the experience but the objects were too far to bee captured by a grainy cell phone camera and difficult enough to see with the naked eye (a little more clear with sunglasses).

So now my colleagues and I are all observing these objects in a triangle and they appeared to be glowing white. When I put on my brown, polarized sunglasses, it became clear that two of them were glowing a pinkish purple color. I passed my sunglasses along and they all observed the same thing. Then, at the same time, we all noted their movement. It was too far to tell whether the two on the outsides or the one on the inside was moving from the triangle...or maybe all three were moving...but they shifted from a triangle to a straight line where they then continued to hover at a distance. We stared for a few more minutes and then decided to go in. When we told our coworkers, they wanted to see them too, so (two minutes later) we took our coworkers out to observe and the objects were gone.

I have no professional experience in UFOlogy, but as an undergrad, took a class on UFOs in which I was trained to be the skeptic. My first thought was airplane and then I realized that they weren't moving but rather, static in a triangle formation. Then I thought weather balloons, but their movement was too controlled, too stable. There wasn't a cloud in the sky or an ounce of humidity in the air, and nothing grounded to create St. Elmo's fire. An airplane had passed within the same pane of vision for comparison so it wasn't a plane. Normally I would consider a project from Nellis, but here's the thing--when the moved from a triangle to a line, the movement was very slow. It took us all a moment to realize that they were actually moving. In the span of time from when I went inside and when I went back out and they were gone, with how slowly they appeared to be moving, there's no way they would've been out of our line of sight that quickly. Usually speed is exaggerated by dis! tance (the farther the object, the slower they appear to be moving) so I'm totally stumped. Thoughts?
