Strange orange light over Lexington, KY

When first spotted, it moved in fast motion from left to right across the sky. At first, mistaken to be an airplane, but after observing for several seconds, appeared to be otherwise.

Orange light, abruptly stopped and stayed in place. Then slowly disappeared and was no longer visible.
