Cresant shaped object bright orange Chinese Lantern?

Coburg rd area. Orange cresent like object heading South. Above head looked up and it was cresent shaped bright orange. Maybe a chinese lantern? Crescent shaped however.

Watched for 12 minutes as it just advanced in the are like a plane until it was no longer visible.
