bright ball of light moving fast right to left then slow up and down then gained speed and disappeared

I went outside do let my dog out and as soon as i opened the door i saw a very bright light that looked like a flying star under intelligant control, i didnt even shut the door i was so shocked, it zig zagged very fast right to left then up and down very slow, then it went very fast in the opposite direction and faded away....

afterward i had a horrible head ache
