A yellowish- orange round oval object on edge glided at 300 feet above street level. On a course from west to east.

The event lasted 3 seconds and covered 6 blocks or about a half mile. The object could have been following the Clackamas River. Darkness had fallen and fog was at its level.

No other colored lights were seen.

I was on a upper bench approximately seventy-five feet above the down town area.
