On Tuesday, May 22, 2012 around 8:40 p.m., my husband and I were driving west bound on Interstate 10 somewhere near Wilcox, AZ. I was gazing at the stars out of the passenger window when I began to see flashes of light and a cluster slowly begin to form. Some lights were flashing bright like a camera flash, while others were dim. I would have to guess that dozens of these lights had flashed randomly during this time. There were 2 separate incidents in the cluster of flashing lights, they looked like a bright orange ball that appeared like an explosion that stayed a round shape and disappeared. One appeared to have been closer than the other and/or much larger and these two lights were a few seconds apart. The light show seemed to be contained in an area that seemed to be within a 100 miles wide, my apologies if this not specific enough. I convinced my husband to pull over and he saw the the light show as well.

After a few minutes we began driving again, I kept watching the light show only now the lights were flashing faster and looking brighter. Not more than fifteen minutes later, I begged my husband to pull over again because I couldn't believe my eyes. As we stood on the passenger side of our vehicle, we noticed the lights getting brighter and flashing faster. After a couple of minutes we realized that the lights were moving towards our direction. We saw white lights that were in sets of two, one light above and one below. As they got closer we saw the lights flew in a very tight and incomplete capital letter "T" formation, meaning some areas of the "T" were missing. There were a few lights flying outside the formation as well. The lights flew over us with the top of the "T" flying directly over us at an angle from right to left. They made no noise that I could hear and were rectangular in shape. They were small, about the size of small plane. The ! lights had an LED appearance to them meaning the light was distinct but not very bright. They flew so close together that it appeared that some of the lights in front looked like four lights hooked together. From the time we were able to make out that the lights were flying towards us till they flew away from us and out of sight took about four minutes. In my best estimate the objects were as close as within about one hundred to two feet feet when directly over us.

There was a fire in Safford, AZ at this time and am not sure if this is a coincidence but our eyes were burning the next day and we stayed in bed all day.
