On july 4th 2012 my girlfriend and i were heading to mcdonalds to see if they were open so we could get a late night 4th of july snack. We were on West State Street when i looked up and said "what is that?" to my girlfriend. In the sky i saw one orange light flying a little bit faster then a plane. We watched it for a minute and it flew "over" us, at first i thought that it may be a satellite but i could just tell that it was in our atmosphere and not in space. It was just one light ball flying. And then from the same position where i saw the first a seond one appeared. But this one went in a different direction (the first went north, this second one headed east). I was following it when the light it was a emitting started to go out. I COULD STILL SEE THE OBJECT FLYING. i was following it with my eye making sure not to break contact with it, and every couple of seconds the orange light would faintly come on just to go out again. eventuall! y it traveled to far and we couldnt see it anymore. we hop in our truck and race to our friends house to tell him what we saw, and on our way we saw one more BIRGHT red object in the sky. At first glance i thought it may be a planet, BUT IT MOVED. In total we saw THREE. I WISH WE HAD A CAMERA, but honestly with all the fireworks and what not it would have been inconclusive through photograph.
