We observed a orange/red kite like object floating thru the sky higher and higher in the dark of the night sky, there was no sound, and we may have been 1 mile away, but it was clearly seen flying up in the sky, until it disappeared from site.

Not sure what it was, could not get a photo due to the darkness and the distance from the object. But this was my first UFO siting so i am submitting this for your ongoing documentation.

The group included the dollowing professionals.
