Bright ascending light, vanished in a flash My wife and I were driving across Whale Bone creek marsh at approx. 15:10 (sic. 19:10 hrs.),when she noticed a bright light in the sky in the direction of Deep River. It was the brightest object in the sky and wondering what it was and if it was moving, we stopped the car and both got out to get a better look. It was not flashing at all; it was just a bright white light. The object was ascending very slowly and lightly dancing back and forth. After a couple of minutes, it instantly dimmed some, but was still clearly visible and continuing to ascend. After another minute or so, the object disappeared in a burst of light. This happened extremely quickly and after, we could not locate any sign of it. ((NUFORC Note: We spoke via telephone with this witness, and he sounded to us to be quite eloquent and serious-minded. We suspect that he is a very good witness. PD))

Bright ascending light, vanished in a flash

My wife and I were driving across Whale Bone creek marsh at approx. 15:10 (sic. 19:10 hrs.),when she noticed a bright light in the sky in the direction of Deep River. It was the brightest object in the sky and wondering what it was and if it was moving, we stopped the car and both got out to get a better look.

It was not flashing at all; it was just a bright white light. The object was ascending very slowly and lightly dancing back and forth.
