2 orange balls of flickering light moving slowly, in a line across the night sky, at low altitude, moving without making a sound.

Walking my dog, and looking south in the sky, a flickering orange object caught my eye. It was moving slowly in a straight line, coming from the south to the north, about the height of a low flying helicopter, but with no sound. A second identical flickering orange ball then appeared and followed in the same path, moving from the south to north. Both followed the same line and stayed at the same altitude, and then turned towards the west. The first slowly faded away and then the second one followed. The objects were orange, circular in shape, with a flickering type of light, very bright orange.
