9-10 orange red orbs flying silently SW to NE around 8:30pm near downtown Dallas.

Wed Sept 18, 2013 8:30pm 9 or 10 orbs flew SW to NE just SE of downtown Dallas.

There was a full moon. They were orange at the bottom and red on top, silent and with no blinking lights. They flew fast, one after the other, in some type of formation. The time between them varied from 2 seci onds to 45 seconds. Some were in pairs.

I have lived in the flight path of an airport for 15 years so I know what a plane or helicopter looks like high or low and it wasn't that. They appeared about 2000 ft high. They had no tails so I knew they were not meteors though they had the look of fire. The total duration of time was less than 10 minutes.

I called 911 and a local news channel and no one else had made any report.
