two silent blue lights followed by a hellicopter

I live in down town Las Vegas. I stepped out for a cigarette and saw two solid blue lights flying smoothly across the sky. The first was moving at a slightly higher rate than the second. The second blue light was moving slower and had a helicopter following it slightly higher and behind it. The helicopter was flashing a red light and a distinct chopper sound was herd. I saw the three objects for only a few secants before they were lost to my view behind houses. The three objects were headed towards the general direction of Nellis Air Force Base.
