Flashing amber colored lights that looked like a ferris wheel on it's side

On a summer night in 1963 I was awakened from my bed by my mother.

She also awoke my brother and sister.She told us to come to her room and told us to look out the window that over looked their field. What I saw was an object setting on the ground about a hundred yards from our house.

It looked like a ferris wheel turned on it's side and it was flashing very bright amber colored lights. I watched the object for what seemed like 2 hours.

I do not remember going to bed or falling asleep. I only remember waking up in the morning.

The next morning we went outside and where the object had been was 3 burnt areas on the ground about 3 feet around. My mother also only remembered waking up in the morning.

I've always thought we may have been abducted.
