orange ball flying through sky and vanished

so it was like 10:30pm and the sky was dark. and me, my brother and sister, and our neighbor was playing outside and we saw a little orange ball like figure on the sky. we thought nothing of it until it grew larger and larger. i tried to take pictures but somehow it didnt show up. it stopped growing then it looked like it vanished then 2 seconds later it appeared again and it was huge then it raced away and vanished.
