Bright lime a star, small, moved fast then hovered

Was watching the stars, looked like a satellite very high in the sky, moving very fast in a straight line. It stopped overhead and then began darting around in a small area. Seemed to then just hover in one spot. No flashing lights, it waa bright white like a star.
