While in our backyard, relaxing on the patio, my girlfriend and I saw a round bright light heading from west to east at a moderate elevation that was moving at an average speed and slowly faded out of sight after a couple minutes. It was silent and not an airplane or helicopter. The light was not flashing and was not in the normal flight path that we see aircraft flying in on a regular basis.
