Three solid lights with no other blinking lights or sound covering a angle of sight of pi/2 for the duration of the event

At first it was two solid white lights as it approached, until it was almost directly overhead, and a third rear light was visible. There where no blinking lights and no sound. It seemed to be high above the clouds, because when it crossed over them, the bright lights were no longer visible through them.
