One bright star-like object randomly gets super bright, disappears, and then reappears multiple times

Fast moving bright star-like object (very high up in the sky, just looked like a fast moving star) ; would randomly/non-consistently get a lot brighter and then disappear for around 3-4 seconds, and then reappear for about 2-3 seconds at some other place in the sky. Went from one end of the sky to the other very quickly and with this repeated action.
