Occurred: 2018-07-26 04:00 Local
Reported: 2019-07-26 16:28 Pacific
Duration: 1 second
No of observers: 1

Location: Boise, ID, USA

Shape:

While star-gazing around 4 a.m. looking Northward, I witnessed a perfectly round explosion in the sky above a horizon star. The size of the explosion was approxmately 10-15x size of a star. No trails, just a perfect 1 second orange/fire colored explosion in the sky.

I also saw what looked like a satellite leave said area of the sky toward the East.

((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS))

Thank you director!
I cannot be sure it was not an iridium flare, but picture of flares are
rarely perfectly circular.
This was a perfect circle, and in comparison to an average sized moon, id
say this blast was about 10-20% of the diameter of the moon.
The final logical idea I had was a perfectly aligned meteor that hit the
atmosphere at a magic angle causing the circular explosion.

Thank you for hearing and following up on my report!
