I was driving in my car as it was alongside following me in the air, i pulled into my driveway and told my wife and it flew over house

I was driving home that night when i noticed a bright light in the sky. It seemed to be following me and matching my speed as i sped up and then i slowed down. After about 3 miles i reached my house and i pulled into my driveway, we had been traveling south. I ran into the house and told my wife to come outside and see this odd craft that followed me home. When we looked up in the sky where it should have been if it had continued south there was nothing there. I was searching the sky above me wondering where it went when i noticed the sky above me, thru the leaves of some trees in my yard was turning black. I then realized it was this craft and it no longer had its light on. It was traveling from the west and heading east now so it had to have made 3 90 degree turns and was going right over our house. The sky slowly turned black like someone was pulling a shade over us. The sky was disappearing at an angle from the furthest point in the center so i realized it was a huge triangle shape. It was not much higher than the treetops and was moving across the sky so slowly that i wondered to myself how is it able to stay airborne and not just fall out of the sky. It was then that i started to wonder what type of power it was using to be so huge and move thru the air so slowly and still maintain flight. Then i realized that there was no engine sound coming from it, no type of power source could be heard from it. The only sound we heard was that of an object slicing thru the wind, like a kite in the wind or a flag whipping in the wind. I asked my wife if she saw it and she just said...yaaa ? We were dumbfounded and possibly in shock from what we had just witnessed. Our brains could not comprehend it. It was shocking to see such a huge object flying in the sky without making any noise. We didnt talk about it again for several years until something we were watching on tv jogged my memory and i asked my wife, hey do you remember that ufo we saw that one night several years ago ? And she said exactly what she said that night...yaaa ? Like she still couldnt really believe that we saw what we saw.
