Green light like fire following craft

With my best friend, I saw the green light in the sky appearing closer than a plane. It traveled very fast horizontally across the sky before disappearing behind us beyond the trees. There was some wind and then three very bright white flashes that I couldn't tell if they came from the sky or the ground. It did not move like a plane or drone.
