1 object looking like a transparent changes to rectangle

My husband and I were working outside and he looked to see a plane overhead and noticed this object just beyond the plane.
It was circular and transparent. He called me over to see it. We watched for about 30 minutes all the while it is stationary over our house and changing into a white ball with a dot. It seemed like it was rotating. I finally got my phone and recorded some footage. I stopped recording when it the shape turned rectangular and started moving toward Lake James. My husband lost sight of it after about an hour.
