Several lights in a ping pong pattern in the sky. Eventually all came together in the middle and then disappeared

At first we thought it was electricity in the clouds as there was thunder and lightening around the same time. We watched them for several minutes ping pong around over our back yard. They eventually came together in the center and glowed like moonlight. In a split second it just disappeared.
