27+ lights in formation quickly moving across sky synchronized

My wife and I both saw over 27 lights, the size of stars or satellites, moving across the sky rapidly in V patterns. One fleet would pass, and then another batch would come out of the clouds and pass. It was mind boggling. Even our 2 year old baby was pointing at them and saying "moon, moon, moon".
