Occurred: 1993-10-15 03:30 Local - Approximate
Reported: 2017-03-25 18:36 Pacific
Duration: 40 minutes
No of observers: 4

Location: South Atlantic Ocean, , South Atlantic Ocean

Shape: Circle
Characteristics: Lights on object, Changed Colo

As the SS Leslie Lykes proceeded from Cape of Good Hope to Caribbean Sea, a huge circle ocular craft rose out of the ocean and hovered for a half hour. Then it took off into the sky and disappeared.

Two different bridge watch teams saw it and no one could hear any noise.

I expressed my disappointment, when I found no entries in the ship's logbook, and no one called the Captain.

I don't know if it was reported, but thought there were similar to the report from Chief Engineer on OSV in gulf on how The Gulf of Mexico on 23/21/17 ((sic. 21MR17)).
