A single, large, bright ball just fell from the sky.

I large size ball of fire just fell very quickly from the sky. Too large and too close to be a shooting star. Did not have a "flame line" following it like meteors normally do.

Moving SE to NW towards the surface. Went behind a hill of trees. Bright orange/white color.
