Characteristics: Lights on object

The object looked like a sideways skyscraper. Noticed it in the sky while I was jogging with a friend . My friend is very familiar with with aviation air crafts. We both stood in disbelief for about 10-15 seconds . The object seems to dissolve into itself . The night sky was as clear as it could get.
