An Elliptical radiating white light spaceship with no specific edges stopped dead center above my boat for about 10 seconds.

I was sailing my 30' sloop from the Turks and Caicos islands to Luperon Harbor Dominican Republic on roughly September 1st 2001. I needed to make a night crossing so I could reach land at sunrise. I left the Caicos at 4:30pm on a beautiful day with no foul weather forcasted, At around 9:30pm weather was excellent with stars and no clouds overhead but suddenly appeared a massive electrical storm about 2 miles off the bow of my boat right on my heading. The storm appeared to be condensed about a mile or so wide with lighting coming at every second and at all different angles. I was taken back by this and said to myself if I hit this storm my boat will explode and I will die. I debated turning around completely or sneaking by on the southern side but wasn't sure what I should do as it appeared that the lighting was actually moving also. What was odd about this was that all around this massive electrical event it was beautiful star sky with no clouds. This event seemed very isolated and lasted for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden was gone. Within seconds of this event ending a radiating white light elliptical object came flying right at my boat at a speed that was unbelievable. It stopped at pin point accuracy dead center above the helm of my boat. I was starring straight up at it as it was pulsating white light in every direction. The objects edges were soft not hard and again was defined by the pulsating white light. The object was above my boat for about 5 seconds and was two and half times the size of my boat, approximately 70 to 80 feet long and 30 to 40 feet wide. I would guess and say it was about 100 feet above my boat. After about 5 seconds it bolted off just how it arrived with unbelievable rate of speed and just disappeared to to the east off me with no sound at all and leaving behind perfect star sky with no clouds. After this incident I had multiple UFO encounters on my boat. On different days I saw multiple light beams directly under my boat traveling at high rates of speeds lasting only a few seconds and then just vanishing. My last encounter of a UFO happened while sailing back from Jamaica to the Florida Keys. I had just sailed around the southern tip of Cuba and was in the old Bahama channel between Cuba and the Bahamas
heading to Florida. It was about 1am when I noticed this small red orb following me. It was about 3/4 of a mile of the starboard side of my boat. It stayed with me for about 10 minutes moving in every direction possible at stopping on a dime with no noise. it seemed to be watching me so I waved at it and after about 10 minutes it just took off and completely vanished. After all these incidents I got the feeling they were watching me and studying me. This is would be the end of my UFO sailing stories.
