Hovering above my car saw an Extremely Fast Object hover over me, then it would just rocket at unbelievable speed above Hwy.

Lighted Object Hovering above my car, then object would just rocket at an unbelievable speed ( or I say Out of this World Speed, especially in the year of 1990 ) noting, object stayed above Me and the Hwy and traveled up and down the highway maybe at 1,000 to 2,000 feet over me. What struck me instantly was it's ability to hover; then absolutely rocket or fly down the highway in a straight line, then it would return and hover. This same scenario would continue for several minutes, before I no longer saw the object (light) again. This was around 15 minutes after I left work toward a 60 minute drive home. This was in a very rural area of SE Iowa, on an older highway (was HWY 63 back in July of 1990, now it is called Hwy 23). A small two lane highway at the time and at night. That which is most notable is its Hovering Ability, and its Out of this World Speed. I knew immediately, we (USA) could not have even anything close to this - what I was seeing in 1990. I left work around 10 p.m. and this was around 15 minutes later, but I do remember the area (just East-Southeast of Cedar, Iowa about 3 miles on a very flat and straight rural highway) with not much traffic at all. I have told many people this through the years, and just not sure they have ever really fully believed me; but, I am a 30 year Professional Insurance Person - well Educated, Highly Credible person and I do know what I saw that July night in 1990. I have always wanted to report this, and the recent queries on TV and Nationally to do so, had prompted me to report same. Again, there is absolutely no doubt what I saw. Thank you kindly.
