A moving diamond in the sky that could change direction

In 1993 myself and 4 others witnessed a UFO in the night sky. It was over The Lake of the Ozarks. It looked like a star in the sky as the sun from the other side of the earth reflected off of it. It moved in the sky to a bottom-left direction in the sky then stopped and made a 90 degree turn in the sky. It proceeded to move to the bottom-right in the sky and then stopped again making another 90 degree turn, moving now to the upper-right direction. From there it started moving again only it picked up speed and turned into what looked like a shooting star and vanished into thin air. We never spoke of it after that night as we were afraid then of the object as we thought it was alien but also because we felt no one would believe us. A total of 5 of us saw the exact same thing. We don't know how high it was, but it resembled a bright star in the sky. A diamond is a close description.

I felt we are not alone in the universe since 1993. I was in high school it the time
