A 200 foot gray pencil shaped craft with no sound, came off the ocean and hovered over me, moving at the speed of sound defying physics

We were sitting on the beach in just north of Asbury park, New Jersey early evening, it was a little beach club, called village beach in lock Arbour, with a little cabanas and a snack bar behind us as we sat in front of ocean this craft came off the water, 200 yards out near the jetty-picture a 200 foot long, pencil made out of graphite, dark gray, eight sides, flat on each end. This thing moved from its 200 yard position directly to the shoreline in less than a second with no sound it stopped short and had bent light zigzagging on the water to our left underneath the ship, and we said wow isn’t that impossible? light can’t bend, yet we are seeing bent light. Then the craft moved slowly towards us, and it hovered over me directly. I leaned back on the sand and looked up at this monstrous gray pencil with a little light underneath, and I thought to myself they are looking at me and they like me. That’s exactly what I was thinking and also that I would gladly enter their craft and go to outer space with them. I was 14 maybe so I really was not afraid and quite entertained. Then it darted back to the shoreline and then back out at the jetty to 300 yards in a fraction of a second like we couldn’t see it move it was that fast. then it started moving slowly north towards Long branch and we ran off the beach, got my friends car to follow it. We travel Down Ocean Ave., North end saw it again in Elberon or Deal, then we lost it in Longbranch. On the radio there were emergency calls coming in from Asbury park towers, claiming a UFO was in the windows this was nothing we could’ve had in 1978 that’s for sure
