Huge low flying craft

I was traveling eastbound on Highway 126 somewhere around Piru, CA, heading to Newhall when I saw to my right what appeared to be a low flying craft and the only way I could make out the shape was by the amber colored lights that were around it and it seemed to be a disc shape approximately a football field or more in length. It was pacing me and seemed to be heading towards the mountains but it was so low that I couldn't help but think that it was going to crash into the mountains because I know they're right there somewhere. As it continued to Pace me and veering off more and more East I knew there was no way it could be flying the way it was due to the mountain range and several years later I came across a video showing how these type of UFOs move within solid shapes. I just watched it and watched it out of the corner of my eye try not to run off the road, as it continued moving slightly away from me until it finally just disappeared into the ether, it seemed but it just kept getting smaller and smaller as it moved away but it seems that distance and height were off-kilter and I couldn't get a good grip on how low it was flying or how large it actually was. I also noticed that for this time of night on a Saturday, there seem to be very few cars on the road and I looked around to see if anyone else possibly was noticing what I was seeing and I just couldn't tell if anybody else did or not but I don't know how anybody can miss it because it was so huge. I was traveling at approximately 50 to 55 mph at the time . There's nothing I can possibly think of that would explain this type of craft and the way it was flying but I did come across a video on the Phoenix Lights I believe some 20 years later that showed the exact same shape of craft and how it flies when there's a mountain range in the way.
