Star burst ship appears in air and shoots across valley lighting up Rincon mountains with search light. Two F15s pursued to no avail.

I observed what I thought was a dog walker with an incredibly bright flashlight bobbing back and forth on a promatory hillside above an arroyo. I could not see any person holding a flashlight and was confused as to how the pool of illumination was illuminating things without my seeing the flashlight itself as I should have given the angle. The "flashlight" lit up bushes and cacti very brightly as it approached the cliff of that hill which fell down maybe 50 feet or more into the arroyo. At the distance I was at a full size sahuaro cactus was about 1 inch high between my fingers with my arm extended.

It was a crystal clear night with not much moonlight. I became concerned that the "dog walker" would tumble over the cliff as the bobbing light came closer and closer to the cliff edge without slowing. I was about to loudly holler out a warning but suddenly the pool of light from the "flashlight" shown on the ground down in the arroyo and continued to bob back and forth as if it were searching. I realized that the source of the light had to be coming from up in the air to have instantly shifted to the bottom of the arroyo with no time in between. As I looked up into the air where I guessed the source to be, right where I gazed a blazing many pointed star of brilliant white light appeared for a half second and it then flew some 60 (?) miles across the valley in about a second with a slight high pitched whizzing sound over to the Rincon mtns where it stopped being visible itself. But I then witnessed a large shining light in a big circular blob on the side of the mtns there as if a giant very powerful search light was trying to find something on the mtn side. That light went on and off over a couple of minutes in different locations on the mtn side and slowly creeped South down the Rinco range. All of a sudden two military jets (F-15s?) in full after burners flew very nearly over my head with a deafening roar and flew over to the Rincon mtns in what looked to be hot pursuit. It took them a few seconds to get across the valley. As I saw their after burner flames get nearer to the area of the light patch suddenly again a bright star like object appeared and flew straight South down past the Southern mountain ranges there down into Mexico, leaving the F15s in the dust. It took approximately two seconds for this "star" to travel that distance and it then disappeared from my view.

The next morning I called Davis Mothan AFB and asked if they could tell me if they had any sorties in that area last night as I had thought I had heard them. They denied having any flights there.
