Published in the Deseret News. Date and time is approximate. Object was reportedly seen in several states including Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming and possible others. It was described as a meteor. However, I saw this object, and to this day, I have never seen a meteor fly perpendicular to the ground at a slow velocity (3-4 times the speed of a jetliner).

The object was photographed and reported in several newspapers. It was about the size of a volkswagen. I actually saw photos several days later. After I was driving and woke up at my house.
