The object was stationary.

I looked out the kitchen window and saw the object in front of a hill over a dairy. I moved to another window and it was still there. I left the window, when I returned it was gone but a small private plane was flying over the location. It was disc shaped and very bright silver color. It did not appear to be moving while I was watching. I did not notice any windows. It was about the size of a two story house.

I did not realize until later what I actually saw. It was a clear and sunny day, about 1 PM.
