strange bright orange cone(with pointed top) slow drifting in the sky

it was during the day......I saw it first it looked like a cone but had a pointed top......it was orange...bright orange..i know it wasnt a balloon or a hot a balloon......it was going vary slow like it was looking for somthing......when i told my friend she went to go get benoculars right before she was able to get them on it went really fast and left.......…
