Large fireball travel at high speed. I've never seen anything like it before. On 1/13/04-At approximately 22:30 hours, my wife and I came out of my son's home located approximately six miles east of Mount Vernon, Missouri, when we witnessed a large glowing fire ball in the night sky. The ball was bright orange and then trailed off red. The object appeared to be traveling at a very high volicity. It took about 30 seconds for it to disapear in the easter sky. It was very large. I am seventy years old and have never witnessed anything like this.
