odd bird-shaped flying device spotted in urban area

My husband reported our sighting a little while ago, but after he came inside, my daughter and I looked out the window briefly and I think I saw the object possibly more clearly than him.

I didn't think to take a picture, but I have enclosed a very rough MS Paint sketch that doesn't really do the sighting justice.
